Once again thanks for being so flexible with my school’s schedules and your EWF installs, as your company’s customer service was terrific!  Your blower truck operator Bill Moore was very professional and accommodating, that guy loves what he is doing, is good at what he does and you are very lucky to have him on your staff.  The principals at the schools and I are very happy with the end result and both playground areas look great!  I will plan on providing you with the names of our remaining elementary schools for you to provide us pricing on.  I also checked out the annual agreement and passed that along to my boss, as that may be a very viable savings option for us as well.

Thanks again for a job well done!

The quality of the top dress product and your application method on our soccer field was “Top Notch”!  The response of the grass is the “Greenest” and the best that we have ever had!  We plan on having you back out in the spring and I would provide my recommendation to anyone that is thinking about using your services.

thompsonDear Ground Solutions,

This letter is in regards to the service Bedrock Slingers/Ground Solutions provided for Thompson School District.  The project entailed removing/recycling sand from an existing playground and replacing the sand with engineered wood fiber to comply with ADA regulations.  The project also included recycling the sand to another playground site.  Ground Solutions performed the task flawlessly.  The crew was professional, hard working and courteous to all involved. We were also impressed that the work was done in a timely manner (only 2 days) under the guidelines of Bacon Davis Wages. The final product resulted in an ADA and ASTM compliant playground for Early Childhood.  The staff is extremely happy with the new playground surface and is excited to have their pupils enjoy the new playground as well.  Thanks for a job well done.

bigrGround Solutions,

I wanted to let you know that your service at North Suburban Medical Center exceeded our expectations of what was promised. Your process for placing the rock in the basement allowed us to advance our schedule by saving us 2 days versus the conventional method of placement. In addition to the time savings, you also were able to save us 20% on cost oflabor vs. traditional installation methods.

Your crew was very professional and got the job done quickly and efficiently. We will not hesitate to consider you for future projects.

dps To Whom It May Concern:

In October of 2012, the Denver Public Schools Grounds Department discoverd and began utilizing Ground Solutions as an all inclusive EWF (Engineered Wood Fiber) install vendor via their fleet of blower trucks. Besides their professional, flexible on time customer service, this change in our process has saved the district thousands of dollars in multiple areas such as materials, on-site man hours, drive time, vehicle wear/tear & maintenance, along with a more efficient install process with no mob fees.

In recent years a Ground Tech for DPS purchase EWF and end dump it to each individual site. A Grounds Department stake bed has a capacity of 15 cyds. This year’s EWF requirements would have needed over 600 delivery trips. The average time for a CDL operator to complete to complete a delivery is two hours. At a rate of $25 per hour this would have cost the District a minimum of $30,000 (Does not include fuel and vehicle maintenance costs). At a frequency of 60 cyds a day, one operator would have to drive for 150 days to meet our needs, to wheras Ground Solutions blower trucks hold 95 cyds of EWF, can visit multiple sites in one day and maximize 3 blower truck loads to install a minimum of 285 cyds per day per blower truck if need be.

After delivery, the on-site facility management crew would spread the material by hand and deal with the site impact damage via skid steers or front end loaders. It would take four hours for one person to spread 15 cyd of EWF (3.75 cyds per hour). The cost to spread this last year’s material would have been approximately 2,400 man hours and $27,000. We noticed their blower trucks were able to blow at a much more efficient rate of 50-60 cyds per hour (180 hours via their blower trucks) and was the only way we were able to meet our install objectives with that much volume this year.

In the last year our department has not only saved $57,000 dollars, plus fuel & maintenance costs, but we were also able to complete approximately one hundred extra work requests. With this said, Grounds Solutions has become an invaluable resource to our department and we look forward to continuing our professional relationship in the years to come.
